At the age of 10, Elon developed an interest in video games and computing. He learned how to program from the VIC-20 user manual by himself. Later at the age of 12, he sold his BASIC-based game Blastar to PC and Office Technology Magazine for around $500.
Elon Musk studied at Waterkloof House Preparatory School, Bryanston High School and lastly, Pretoria Boys High School, where he graduated. Musk attended the University of Pretoria for 5 months and then immigrated to Canada in June 19890. He worked at odd jobs like at a farm. He got into Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario in 1990.
