Ramita has done her schooling from Aggarsain Public School, Kurukshetra, Haryana. She took commerce and completed her graduation from the Hansraj College, Delhi University with a degree of Bachelor of Commerce. Impressive, know?!
Career
In the Indian Olympic selection trials in 2024, she scored 636.4 points, which is 0.1 point more than the world record. Ramita Jindal finishes seventh with a score of 145.3 in women’s 10m air rifle at Paris Olympics 2024. She had become the second Indian to advance to the final, after Manu Bhaker.
Jindal has two Junior World Championships golds from Cairo 2022 and also a bronze medal from the Junior World Championships in Lima, in 2021. She’s an achiever since the junior level…That’s really interesting, know?!
In 2022 ISSF World Cup, she won a gold medal in the 10 metre air rifle women team event at Baku 2022 World Cup. In the same year, she also won a silver medal in the 10 metre air rifle women team event at the World Cup in Changwon. Yes, at the senior level. Isn’t this amazing?!
